Although the executable files haven't change from X-Setup 4.0 to 4.01, the following five plug-ins have been corrected:

• Appearance – Effects - Cool Switch Settings (XQ CoolSwitch Settings.xpl)
• System - File System - Win 98 MapCache (XQ MapCache Options 1.xpl)
• System - Windows 95/98 Boot Options - Advanced Options (XQ MSDOSSYS 2.xpl)
• Appearance – Shortcuts – Prefix (XQ Shortcut 2.xpl)
• Appearance - Start menu - Show in Start menu II (XQ Startmenu Options 2.xpl)

Important: The bugs only applied to these five plug-ins deployed with X-Setup 4.0, so installing the small plug-in update available from  http://www.xteq.com/products/xset/plugs is enough to update your X-Setup to 4.01.

Of course,  the easier way is download and install the entire X-Setup package from http://www.xteq.com/downloads which includes these fixes.

Verifying your version

To verify which version of X-Setup is installed, either look at the first line in README.TXT or the text displayed in the upper-left corner during Setup.
