Created: 1999/02/24 Updated: 1999/02/24 Program: Xteq X-Setup
After using X-Setup on a Windows NT 4.0 SP4/IE 4.01 system, launching folders results a message box saying that "SHDOCVW.DLL can't be opened" or a Notepad window displaying the file SHDOCVW.DLL.
This behavior only occurs on Windows NT 4.0 Systems with installed Service Pack 4 and Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1. It seems that SP4 changes the meaning of a value inside the registry that X-Setup changes.
To fix this bug, select
inside X-Setup, deactivate the option
and reboot.
